A/N: Story is AU, with a Season 1 sense of fun. Meet Max before she knew Logan.
Summary: Max/?/Alec triangle. Max falls for a sexy stranger who turns out to be one of the last people she expected. Alec, on a missiong to retrieve the rogue, X5-452, stumbles across the pair and in getting to know them both, finds himself reluctant to complete his mission. Will the worst happen or will one of the three transgenics sacrifice him or herself for love?
