Random Scene #2 (General)

And yet another random scene that isn’t necessarily for any of the stories I have currently running, nor is it for anything yet to be developed. IF I had to fill in the blanks with names or designations, I would go with Biggs, Axel and Steve again, or Axel, Quinn and Steve. Possibly Jake or Tanner. Jake, Tanner and Steve? Anything is possible.

Here is the scene:

“Stop right there!”

The shout came from their immediate left. _______ dropped an rolled to safety, protecting the vials that they hadn’t yet had the chance to secure in the cooler.

“Shit. Try to distract him! I need to get that ice-box or all our hard work won’t be worth this and I’ll be at a disciplinary hearing faster than you can state your designation.”

“Must you be so dramatic, ______?”

“Man, I can’t afford another ________ on my record.”

“Wait a sec. It looks like backup’s here, and if I got _____’s hand signals right,” he grinned down at ______, “Watch.”

The newly arrived ______ lunged forward, slamming the thick-set guard against the hard wooden doorframe of the open door, the sudden movement catching him by surprise.

“Umph!”

He tied the guard’s wrists together. There wasn’t enough to secure his ankles too, and he had nothing with which to gag the guy. Well, he figured, this should take care of pretty much everything. Gripping the downed man’s thick head tightly with his hands, ______ smacked it against the stone floor with a sharp crack. The guard’s body stilled immediately and fell slack.

“There, now that’s better,” ______ stated with a smile.

______ high-fived ______. “Thanks, man. We were pinned and this stuff doesn’t have a long shelf-life.”

______ gave him a look.

“What?” he asked defensively. “It doesn’t!”

“Never mind. Thanks, ______. ______’s right. We were in a bind. Appreciate the help.”
