Max & Lyle: The Morning After (Heat)

She shook her head. “Look, let’s just forget this happened, okay?”

He barked a short laugh. “You’re kidding, right? Come on, 452, you can’t be serious. I couldn’t have been that bad; you begged for it.”

“I was in heat, 810, it’s not like I could control it,” she snapped.

“You wanted me and you know it.”

“I wanted to get laid. Period. I didn’t care who it was as long as I got it.”

“Slut.”

“Dick.”

“Hey, you’re the one who wanted to drive stick shift. You came on to me, remember?”

“It’s not like I had any better options.”

“Ouch,” his mocking expression turned proud, “Got you where you wanted to go, though.”

“You’re disgusting.”

“No, just statin’ facts. You can deny it all you want, 452, but you wanted me. Wanted me, used me and got off because of me. In fact, you should be thanking me.”

Max had had enough and she sent 810 a withering glare, face contorted with disgust as she turned to walk away, unable – or perhaps unwilling – to respond to his comments.

“You know, Max,” he practically purred as he came up behind her and ran his nose along the underside of her ear and down to her jaw, inhaling deeply. “This doesn’t have to be a one-time thing.”

“Ugh!” she exclaimed, yanking her head to the side to avoid his touch and escape the hot breath that tickled her skin and reminded her of her shame.

“Never.”

“Don’t be like that, baby,” he coaxed, “We’ll scratch each other’s backs.”

“Once was one mistake too many. Leave me alone.”

“C’mon, Maxie,” he pleaded, reaching out to grasp her around the waist.

“Don’t. Call. Me.”

In a second, Max had whirled on him and brought knee up between his legs. 810’s face pinched and paled, before he crumpled to the floor cradling his privates and looking as if he would be sick.

“Maxie,” she finished, pushing the hair out of her face.

IF WANT TO NAME LYLE – possibility: when max tells alec about it she’ll call him vile. and that she should have named him such at the time. alec will comment that vile isn’t a name, kyle maybe, but not vile. so she’ll narrow her eyes and say that kyles too good for him but lyle works just fine. he’s a liar and he’s vile. perfect.

note – tiff says about max’s comment of ‘didnt have any better options’ that maybe it could be interpretted to mean Lyle was the best of all. if so, lets Lyle later brag and say she even said there were none better! braggart will get his ass kicked by alec.
