#1 Alec Dreams of Escape
earlier i mentioned that alec was considering escape. max even said something to the effect that set him off and he went all true-blue soldier on her. so i need to bring back in the fact that he still thinks about it, even if he hasn’t or may never act upon the desire.
where can i incorporate this? it must be done at least in small part/incremements throughout the story and up until max (after talking to lydecker) asks for alec’s help in rescueing tinga.
(at which point alec will not answer and leave max hanging and worries that he might compromise her. he will go off and seriously think of the implications and consequences should he agree to the plan)
maybe one one mission where max goes off with lyle (she’ll go into heat on that mission, too) and alec is backup or comms or something and he’s thinking how simple it would be just get up and walk away.
